Altacor is a UK based ophthalmic specialty pharmaceutical company with a growing portfolio of ophthalmic products. The company began supporting Orbis and the Flying Eye Hospital in 2020 after a presentation to staff.
Altacor was formed in 2006 and has grown into a reputable and respected company within the ophthalmic industry. After meeting at the RCOphth Congress in Glasgow, May 2019, Orbis were delighted to have the opportunity to follow up in February 2020 and present to staff about our work in tackling avoidable blindness. Altacor became an official corporate partner in March 2020 through a generous donation to support the work of the Flying Eye Hospital.
