TD Tom Davies

Bespoke eyewear brand TD Tom Davies first supported Orbis in 2005 by placing collection tins in their store. The designer’s personal support of Orbis has been unwavering since, and in 2015 Tom Davies chose Orbis as the beneficiary charity of his DADA eyewear design competition in order to support our Vision for Zambia appeal.

Donations were made to Orbis as part of the voting process, an innovative way to raise funds and awareness for the charity!

Tom’s energy and enthusiasm for Orbis’s work is fantastic, and he continues to propose new ways in which his company can support our work. In 2017 he donated equipment and volunteered time to enable Orbis to create 360 footage for social media. Tom also donated over 300 spectacle frames to Orbis-supported Vision Centres in Zambia, pledged communications support during the planning stages of Orbis campaigns and provided introductions to suppliers in order to establish new links.

In March 2017, Tom brought members of his team along to see the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital at Stansted, bringing his colleagues closer to the work he hopes to support even more in the future.
