She was a long supporter of Orbis and introduced me to the charity to provide life changing care to people with limited access to care we take for granted in the UK. Above all, I hope to enjoy the 26.2 miles (as much as can) whilst raising money in my Granny's memory.

Hi, I’m David
The London Marathon in October will be my fourth marathon, but my first London Marathon. I always go to watch and find it incredibly inspirational to see all the runners with their own individual stories and challenges cheered on by complete strangers!
Training is going to be tough, the run will be even harder, but I can't wait as London is the ultimate marathon for me. My Granny (who sadly passed away in 2019) was troubled with bad sight from an early age, but was lucky enough to have access to fantastic medical care in the UK, which improved her quality of life greatly.
