Iris Campaign Terms and Conditions

Iris Frequently Asked Questions

How does iris photography work?

You’ll sit within our photography booth. We then take a high-resolution photograph of your iris using a camera and flash photography. The image is then artistically enhanced to create a unique piece of artwork, which you’ll receive digitally or as a print.

How old do I need to be?

Participants must be at least 6 years old. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can give consent on their behalf. In order for a clear iris photo, all participants must be able to sit still throughout the photography process.

Is this a medical test?

No. The photography is purely artistic. It is not an eye exam and cannot be used for medical purposes. If you have any concerns about your eyes or vision, we recommend speaking to a qualified medical professional.

Is iris photography safe?

Yes. The process is non-invasive and only involves standard flash photography. The main consideration is light sensitivity—flash may cause temporary discomfort may not be suitable if you have photosensitive epilepsy, recent eye surgery, or other light-related eye conditions. You are responsible for assessing your own suitability before taking part.

For hygiene purposes, all equipment is disinfected between uses. Hand sanitiser is provided. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee zero risk.

Can I wear contact lenses during the iris photography?

Yes, but it may affect the clarity or colour of the image. For the most accurate result, we recommend removing contact lenses before your session if possible.

How much does it cost and when do I pay?

Prices start at £16 and go up to £99 depending on the print option, size and framing options you can choose from . Payment is taken in full at the stand in advance of the iris photography by debit or credit card.

When will I get my iris image?

Digital files or prints are usually delivered within 2–4 weeks. Physical prints are only sent to UK addresses.

What happens to my personal data?

Your data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy. Images are stored for up to 45 days before being deleted. Data may be shared with our print supplier for fulfilment only. You can withdraw consent for us to hold your data at any time within that period.

Can I get a refund?

Once your iris has been photographed, the order cannot be cancelled. Refunds are only offered if we cannot take or produce your image due to equipment or technical issues. Refunds are not available if image quality is affected by movement during photography.

What if I’m not happy with the image?

Contact us within 35 days. We will review your concern and may provide a replacement of your artwork or refund if appropriate. We cannot retake photographs once the campaign has ended.

If delivery is delayed or an error occurs on our side, we will reissue your image at no cost. We are not liable for delays outside our control or incorrect details provided by you.
