The fun run is organised by our longstanding partner EURETINA and coincides with their annual ophthalmic conference. Novartis have also kindly sponsored the event over the years allowing for 100% of the participants’ €30 registration fees to be donated towards fighting blindness, so we can continue giving the gift of sight to millions of children and adults across the globe.
EURETINA Race raises €3,570
On Saturday 9th September 120 runners took part in the 5km Retina Race in aid of Orbis, which this year was held in the vibrant city of Barcelona, raising an incredible €3,570 towards our sight saving work.

We were delighted to be the beneficiary charity of the Retina Race for the sixth year in a row! It’s a fantastic event and a great way to bring the delegates together outside of the conference. We are grateful for the support from EURETINA in organising the entire run on our behalf and to Novartis for their sponsorship, allowing for all registration fees to be donated towards our sight saving work.
