Aerospares 2000 raises £1,307 for Orbis’s Sight Saving Work

June 2018

UK based Aerospares 2000, which sources specialist plane parts for the aviation industry, is donating $1 from every sale to Orbis until 2020. Since the company began its support at the end of 2017, over £1,300 has been raised to assist our work, with donations increasing each quarter.

The company, which is committed to helping people through corporate social responsibility, has been donating to charities since it was established in the early 2000s. Alongside its financial support, Aerospares 2000 has also considered how else it can make a difference and is helping to raise awareness of Orbis’s work through its own networks and connections.

We’re excited about our partnership with the amazing Aerospares 2000. With over £1300 raised so far, we’d like to thank both the company and their customers for their generosity and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them

Nilly Sutton

Head of Corporate Partnerships at Orbis UK

At the end of May, Aerospares 2000 kindly invited us to attend the AP&M Europe conference in London, as part of their stand, enabling Orbis to meet new contacts within the aviation industry.

Since inception, Aerospares 2000 has always played an active role in giving back to the local community and donating to numerous charities. Orbis and The Flying Eye Hospital are an amazing charity and we are absolutely thrilled to be able to assist them in their pursuit of fighting avoidable blindness
