Tom Davies Glasses
Looking to buy some new glasses? Eyewear designer and Orbis ambassador Tom Davies has launched a pair of glasses where all the money from the sales will support Orbis to end avoidable blindness.
The London-based designer has supported Orbis since 2005. Over the years, Tom has donated spectacle frames to our Vision Centres in Zambia, introduced Orbis to suppliers and donated the proceeds of acetate frames which contained space dust from planet Mars.
Former trustee and Orbis ambassador Larry Benjamin is a retired eye surgeon with a life-long passion for photography. Larry takes photographs of nature, wildlife and city views in his travels across the world, and donates 50% of all sales to Orbis.
He first became involved with Orbis in 2004. Larry’s work with Orbis has been particularly instrumental in strengthening children's eye care in Zambia. He trained one of Zambia’s first paediatric ophthalmologists, Dr Mboni, working with him to evolve his skills, enabling him to treat complicated eye conditions.
