Transparency & accountability

Here at Orbis we understand the importance of transparency and accountability. We’re accountable to our staff and volunteers, the people and communities we help, the partners we work with and the amazing supporters who make our work possible.

As such, we want to ensure that our work is clear and how we spend our supporter’s money is transparent. To help with this we publish our Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements each year which can be viewed here.

International Aid Transparency Initiative

We also support the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) which is a global effort to make information about aid spending and effectiveness easier to access, understand and use. It enables all Civil Society Organisations to publish information on their work in one way (the IATI Standard) and one place (the IATI Registry).

We currently publish our financial information quarterly and information about our results annually on IATI for two projects, one in Zambia and one in Ethiopia. You can take a look at the IATI Registry, which is the database to which our data gets published, but if you would like to know more about these projects we recommend taking a look at our Orbis page on D-Portal, or you can find us on DFID’s DevTracker.

If you have any questions, please contact the Programme Support Team on or 020 7608 7260.
